LANGUAGE & SPEECH DELAYS MAY BECOME LEARNING DISABILITIES

Many parents and educators may see slow language development as something children eventually outgrow but evidence suggests that sometimes they don't. Children who have delays in language and speech development may be more at risk for learning disabilities and even children who outgrow the initial difficulties sometimes show signs of learning disabilities from age 6 onwards.

College of Allied Educators offers our Certificate in Learning Disorders Management and Language Development, training students to help children develop their literacy and communication skills. The course will focus on the most common learning disorders and will expose candidates to the identification, diagnosis, and intervention strategies.
