TRUE OR FALSE: ADHD KIDS ARE MOSTLY BOYS

A study of 400 boys and girls seems to show that the tendency for both boys and girls to have learning disabilities are about equal. The difference is that boys are more likely to act out from frustration, boredom, and hyperactivity. As a result they tend to receive more attention and be assessed more often as having specific learning disabilities. Due to this reason, girls are less likely to be properly diagnosed and given the timely attention and help they need.

College of Allied Educators offers our Diploma in Learning Disorders Management and Child Psychology, familiarising students with the most common learning disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorders, Dyspraxia and Dyslexia. The programme is highly practice-oriented and will focus on the identification, diagnosis, and intervention strategies.
